Mankatha will be produced. Mankatha is Ajith’s 50th film directed by Venkat
Prabhu. This film was great success and also yielded heavy profits. This film
was also a turning point in the careers of Ajith and director Venkat Prabhu.

Mankatha 2. Dhayanidhi Azhagiri who was the producer of Mankatha had recently
mentioned, ” The film Mankatha has a great place in the hearts of Tamil people.
There are also expectations of Mankatha 2 amongst them. In
future there are chances for Mankatha 2. Venkat Prabhu has already readied the
crux for Mankatha 2. This gives me immense happiness.”Director Venkat Prabhu
has now mentioned, “I am ready to direct Mankatha 2 but Ajith sir is busy
throughout this year. If time permits, the audience can surely expect Mankatha
2. When I was shooting Mankatha I had two kind of stories. Finally we decided
the story which you saw in Mankatha.”
