Bala’s Paradesi was nominated for 8 awards @London
International Filmmaker Festival (LIFF). Even though Paradesi movie was not recognized
well in hometown but Bala finds is ownway and got appreciation from overseas.
Veteran Director Bala has named paradesi’s English version
as VAGABOUND.
The list of nominations which includes movies from
exceptional filmmaker world over, has placed Bala in 4 Categories :
Best Film
Best Director
Best Foreign Film
Best Director for a Foreign Film
And also Adharva is in the race for the Best Actor Male,
Chezhian and GV Prakash are nominates
for Cinematography and Best Music
This pre- independence saga, inspired by Dr. Paul Harris
Daniel’s – Red Tea, is a saddening tale about the plight of an impoverished
group of tea plantation workers in the South India Featuring the young brigade
of performers namely – Adharva, Dhansika and Vedhika in pivotal roles.
The final announcement is made on the 18th of
October, 2013, bala finds a worthy mention yet again. Here is the wishing him
