Aadhalal kadhal seiveer ! - Salute.
An outline of story itself dosen't suggest anything new but director way he have handled screenplay was really different.
Debutant santhosh suits well in the movie as karthik but lack in his performance,my suggestion better he should join koothu-pattarai to train him for his next flick,Manisha yadav who made her impressive debut in vazhakku en 18/9 as same she never fails in this too has done a neat job,KSY fame Arjunan in 1st half his comic time was enjoyable,rest crews like JP sir as usual he has given his best & others they have done a good job except poornima bhakyaraj mam.
Technically movie was outstanding in some shots especially in climax,both cinematography & editing was one of the backbone for AKS, Yuvan at his best specifically climax song which he have sung his voice + lyrics+music kudos to yuvan another bonus for AKS.
Director Suseenthiran no words only respect for him,I remember when am walking out of theatre after watching his previos movie Rajapattai i was thinking why he has taken this kind of film ? i had a question myself whether we have watched a film who directed Vennila kabadi kuzhu & naan mahan alla but i know he will be back with good film my thought was not shattered Yes ! he is back with a form and he delivers a strong social message through AKS,Hats-off to him & his whole team.
Conclusion :
This is a season where old story was told in a new way, AKS is also not an exceptional or unusual want to say it's a BRAVE attempt by director if any story has social element or content means audience will have thought there will be preachy or advisable but this stands in a perspective way,Kudos to the director for writing and executing an intense story with few commercial elements.Personally i shed my tears in climax even stone- hearted fellow will also shed tears for climax.
In one word or in sentence have to say means.
