tinsel town is that Ilayathalapathy Vijay will be performing for a song
sequence in Mammootty’s ‘Gangster’. The movie is directed by Aashiq Abu. The
director wants to keep this news under the wrap, according to reports.<o:p></o:p></div>

However, there is no official confirmation from the team
yet. </div>

finding it an ordeal speaking Tamil for director KV Anand’s ‘Anegan’. But
Dhanush comes to the rescue, teaching her the finer details and nuances of

So how is the teacher-student getting along? “I have an AD
speak the lines slowly and record it to be replayed and learn. It takes me

reported that Ajith had expressed his dissatisfaction after watching Arrambam

With the shooting of a couple of songs in Japan featuring
the lead pair of Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal, the crew of Vijay's upcoming film
Jilla has completed the foreign shooting schedule and would soon be heading
home.<o:p></o:p></div>

Directed by debutant Nesan, the crew and the lead pair were
in Japan recently where a romantic number was filmed on Vijay and Kajal whose
dance movements were choreographed by Raju Sundaram.  The crew is likely to return soon to Chennai.</div>

The film, which has Malayalam megastar Mohanlal in a
significant role, is all set to hit the screens in the State and elsewhere on

The first team would be headed by cinematographer Ganesh and

Fans of 'Thala' Ajith Kumar were least amused when
Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, an upcoming actress and who is to find her feet in
Kollywood, tweeted on the Net saying that Vishal's Pandianadu is the clear
winner among the Deepavali releases. 
After getting a taste of the fans' ire, Varalakshmi promptly withdrew
those remarks.</div>

Readers might recall that the one-film old Varalakshmi
debuted in films opposite Simbu in last year's Poda Podi which turned out to be
a moderate hit.  Her Sundar C-directed
Madha Gaja Raja which has Vishal and Anjali as the other lead stars, has hit
huge bottlenecks in its release in theatres. 
The film's release has temporarily been shelved for many reasons.<o:p></o:p></div>

With no film on hand, Varalakshmi found herself getting
caught in rumours which said that she was in love with Vishal, who had clashed
with Sarath Kumar, her father and president of Nadigar Sangam.  Even before the rumours could die down,
Varalakshmi posted pictures of Ajith, Vishal and Karthi on the Net and said
that among the three who had their films releasing on Deepavali, Vishal was a
'clear winner'.<o:p></o:p></div>

Her remarks which suggested that Vishal's Pandianadu was a
better hit film than Ajith's Arrambam have invoked the ire of Ajith's

withdrew the picture of Ajith and apologized to Ajith's fans for her ill-timed

explosions. AK alias Ashok Kumar (Ajith) is the man behind it. Soon he kidnaps

Music director Anirudh Ravichander has reportedly ‘returned’
the advance amount paid to him to score music for at least six films which are
to release in future. Nephew of Latha Rajinikanth, Anirudh debuted as music
director in Kollywood with last year’s 3 which starred Dhanush and Shruti
Haasan in lead roles and also marked the directorial debut of his cousin

After doing two remake movies, R Kannan has now decided to
do a movie with an original story. For his next movie, he has penned the story
and script.<o:p></o:p></div>

Kannan shared this with IANS. He has claimed that his
forthcoming movie will be a romantic family entertainer. “I’m not doing any
remakes for now. My next film is a neat family entertainer laced with romance.
It is based on original script and has not been inspired from any other film,”
IANS quoted the actor as saying. The movie will hit the floors in December, and
it is likely to be before audience by next June. “We will go on floors from
December onwards and plan to release the film by June next year,” he added. Kannan
has signed Vimal to play the lead role. He is in talks with a top actress to
play the female lead in the forthcoming Tamil movie.<o:p></o:p></div>

The untitled project will be produced by Michael Rayappan
under the banner Global Infotainment. D Imman will be scoring music for the
